CASE WORKER SERVICES
Unlike traditional Non-Emergency Medical Transportation companies who utilize dispatcher to arrange trips, TAPMAPZ will have trained transportation case workers that will be involved in every step of the transportation process to facilitate a successful experience.
INDIVIDUALIZED TRANSPORTATION PLAN
Upon receiving the transportation referral, a case assessment will be conducted, from which a transportation action plan will be developed for each trip.
PROACTIVE NEMT
Unlike traditional transportation providers who attempt to react to issues affecting the transportation process after the fact. TAPMAPZ will take the proactive approach, assessing each trip and intervening before complications can have a negative effect on the transportation process.
OPEN COMMUNICATION
With the consent of the patient, TAPMAPZ will promote open communication between everyone involved in the patients’ care, facilitating the successful coordination of each trip while providing an avenue for patients to express their needs.
REDUCED TRAVEL & WAIT TIME
Patients will no longer have to sit in a vehicle for hours waiting for other patients to be transported. They will be taken from home to their appointments and back with minimal stops between point A and point B. Patients will also not have to wait outside for extended periods of time, because they will be notified of drivers’ arrival time as well as the time to come outside.
SAFE TRANSPORTATION
TAPMAPZ will partner with a limited amount of drivers who will be evaluated and trained specifically for Non Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). The driver pool will be small hence patients will become familiar with them; eliminating the dangers of driving with a complete stranger. TAPMAPZ’s sole focus is NEMT.
